Zip Business is a newly established division uniquely set-up to operate as a start-up within Zip. We service small businesses everyday. We move fast, experiment and enjoy the creative freedom and accountability to own our destiny to scale and grow! 
We’re looking for a proven B2B marketer who can work across the Zip Business product suite with a passion for marketing campaigns and optimisation. You will play a critical role, in partnership with the Senior Campaigns Manager, to build the brand and customer base of Zip Business through a variety of marketing campaigns.

The role

As a Marketing Manager in our Zip Business Marketing team, you will work to make Zip famous with Australian small and medium sized businesses. Your main goal will be to manage campaign and conversion strategies that drive aggressive growth through acquisition and engagement of business customers and merchants across all Zip Business payments and lending solutions. 

In this role you will:

- Bring an understanding of the small business landscape and use these insights to manage campaigns end-to-end and optimise them in a way that will enable us to grow the number of SMEs using Zip Payments and Lending solutions or becoming Zip Merchants
- Own the Channel Marketing plan to drive merchants to Zip through key ecommerce, payments and strategic partners 
- Oversee a broad range of marketing and cross sell initiatives in respect for business priorities, objectives, designing and executing campaigns, offers and promotions across suggested channels 
- Influence product and web to drive in-product, web and trade marketing strategies that feature SMBs merchants to increase growth and awareness of our SMB and Zip increased transaction value.
- Influence web, product and onboarding to consider conversion improvement and cross sell strategies. 
- Manage agency, stakeholder and customer relationships, calendars, assets, documentation and all elements necessary to manage campaigns and report on performance aspects 
- Establish first class reporting, always keeping an eye on the metrics and managing campaigns to drive results 
- Communicate updates to the Zip Business tribe for constant transparency and present key results 
- Support the PR and Comms activities that drives our public agenda with SMBs and industry verticals

  • General marketing skills
  • Prioritisation, ROI, calendar and task management skills
  • Stakeholder, staff, media and agency management experience
  • Event management or coordination experience
