The Opportunity at Culture Amp

Culture Amp is looking for an exceptional Workplace Experience and Office Coordinator to join us in our mission to make as many culture-first companies possible through accessible people analytics. This is a 6 month fixed term contract with the opportunity for permanent employment.

You will lead the general office management of our Melbourne office, managing the day-to-day inner workings of the space, including coordination of office works & space allocation, working closely with building management about all the little (and big) things, maintaining our emergency procedures and overseeing the relationship with all office-related vendors. This means you’ll be the go-to person within the company for all things Melbourne office related. You’ll be a point person for day to day employee office needs and queries, trade management, community building and celebration activities, including organising volunteer days and office gatherings, and work closely with the global Workplace Experience team to create a globally aligned approach for our offices where it makes sense.  

You will also help execute our office utilisation strategy including space allocation and planning, measuring camper activity and interactions within each space, and overall building an office experience built for a hybrid and flexible approach to work that we have at Culture Amp. You will also help support our remote Campers in their day to day experience and needs. 

In addition to office activities, you’ll help welcome new Campers into the business, assist in onboarding coordination including scheduling and running new starter induction sessions and ensure it will be an amazing experience each time. You’ll constantly think about ways in which we can deliver on our promise of being a Culture First company, including being thoughtful about how we live our values within our office. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, don’t shy away from problem solving, and enjoy interacting with people. You find a certain degree of satisfaction when no two days are the same, time flies because you’re knocking stuff out left, right & centre, and you’re making order out of chaos.

We’re growing too, so this means creative solutions to how we use our office space. You’ll be a key driver in understanding challenges, collecting ideas, and making proposals on the best path to resolution. 

What You Bring to Our Camp

  • Creativity, problem-solving skills and notable resilience. There’s no task or problem too big or small for you to handle.
  • Proven experience in this type of role for more than 1-2 years
  • You are deeply curious and passionate about people and culture. At heart, you're what we call a people geek
  • The ability to juggle multiple requests, competing agendas, and random things that come up last minute, prioritise what needs your attention first, all while communicating with the team and your stakeholders. You treat challenges like puzzles to be solved and are excited to do so
  • Sound administrative experience
  • Facilitation experience to be able to conduct inductions for new starters in group sizes of ten
  • Office facilities experience, scoping out new office spaces, overseeing office fit outs, project plans and managing budget spend
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Gmail, Google Workplace & Slack (proficiency in Confluence is a plus!)
