Overview of Position

Our software engineering team actively focuses on building web and mobile native applications for our next-generation SaaS robotics command & control platform. You will participate in all phases of the software development life-cycle and be responsible for creating and delivering our iOS native apps from development to production in an R&D environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of our iOS apps with your knowledge of best practices
  • Manage layouts across iPhone and iPad screens
  • Maximise app reliability for customers performing critical missions
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders and teams in establishing standards of quality and resolution of features and defects
  • Perform research to come up with software solutions to challenging or novel problems and requirements
  • Design, develop and implement CI/CD pipelines to support team and native application development
  • Test solutions in the field, including operating unmanned vehicles like drones or rovers.
  • Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor of computer science, software engineering or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as an iOS Developer
  • 2+ years of commercial experience with Swift Experience in deploying apps to the Apple App Store
  • Experience with live video streaming and with CI/CD pipeline
  • Team player with strong communication skills and problem-crushing attitude
  • Experience working with UAVs (unmanned autonomous vehicles) or other robotic platforms
  • Experience with 3D data processing real-time data such as  LIDAR or other sensors
