About the Team
The Payments, Billing & Automation team spans product management, product marketing, engineering, data and design. Together, we work to develop innovative product solutions that help small businesses save time and improve cash flow. Outside of the core product team we collaborate cross functionally with peers in our key markets (Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, UK and US) to develop initiatives that drive adoption and usage of our products and features in Xero amongst our key audiences - small businesses, accountants and bookkeepers.
About the Role
As the Product Marketing Manager in the payments team, you will be accountable for positioning and marketing Xero’s payment solutions to new and existing small business customers and their advisors.
You will be responsible for the successful packaging, launch and delivery of Xero’s payment solutions to key customer segments.
You will clearly articulate the value that payments deliver and drive the discovery of new products and features that help small businesses pay their bills, whilst getting existing customers repeatedly interacting with these features in Xero.
You are a highly driven, high energy marketing professional with the skills and experience needed to help drive the adoption and usage of Xero’s payment products. You are self-motivated and can work independently and effectively in a fast paced environment.
You are a team player and love collaborating with others to deliver real customer and business value. You feel comfortable with having customer and commercial targets to meet, and you have an exceptional ability to effectively influence others to help achieve your targets.
You have a natural curiosity to learn, take initiative and be comfortable in proactively finding the information you need from stakeholders across the business. You can balance being creative and strategic, whilst also being hands on and tactical.
