As the squad lead you will proactively build relationships with key personnel across all relevant areas of the business, from those that influence strategy, measure success and deliver experiences that impact customer outcomes. You will be a champion for the customer and use your fountain of knowledge to influence everything from OKRs through to product roadmaps.

You will be known as a trusted advisor to those who support our customer strategy, these would be roles such as customer and sales leadership, product owners, journey specialists and data analysts to name a few. You will identify, map and orchestrate activity, connecting the dots between related programs of work to ensure continuity of the bigger picture and influence direction such that our teams are guided to focus on solving the right problems.

You will ensure that the cause and effect of different digital touch points across the journey is well understood and tracked against the impact to our business objectives.

Some of what you’ll do

  • Stakeholder engagement and cross team collaboration is of the utmost importance
  • You will bring a thorough understanding of all Digital channels and how they can be used to best achieve key results for our internal customers
  • Liaise with and influence peers across the digital team to help deliver on the business outcomes and OKRs required for Partner
  • Set joint targets across the cross-functional digital team to ensure that we’re delivering for our internal customer, partner
  • Be a key representative for digital within the partner leadership forum and provide performance and activity updates
  • Build working relationships with Partner focussed roles within media, xero.com, marketing automation, etc
  • Help to define the commercial opportunity related to addressing a particular Accountant/Bookkeeper need or gap
  • Hold regular meetings with regional leadership to understand each go-to-market strategy,   providing transparency into digital activity aimed at supporting GTM objectives
  • What you’ll bring with you

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), problem solving, and executive presentation skills
  • A desire to innovate and transform
  • Curiosity and open-mindedness, as well as the confidence to challenge constructively all levels of management
  • Hands-on, get-it-done demeanour with excellent project management skills for complex, cross-functional global campaigns and initiatives
  • Excellent cross-functional collaborator, striking deep relationships and ability to influence functional teams to gain
  • 10+ years' marketing experience in a high-growth environment
  • Experience working in International markets and global teams, with US and UK experience preferable
  • Experience of working in a global matrix structure and managing non-direct reports through influencing and motivating to achieve jointly set targets
  • Practical experience of agile methodologies within a product environment

  • This is a parental leave fixed-term contract for 12 months, accepting applications based in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra or Perth.
