We have ambitious growth plans and need an experienced Head of Marketing. This person will help position Longtail UX as an innovative, one-of-a-kind solution for C-suite executives globally.

About Longtail UX (“LUX”):

With our patented technologies, we help clients rapidly grow their online revenue and expand market share. Smart companies are using LUX to completely reimagine what’s possible in generating attractive ROI from their new customer acquisition investments.

We work with clients around the world, including some of Australia's best-known brands across retail, peer-to-peer marketplaces, finance and travel, including Myer, Graysonline, Catch, Dan Murphy’s, Adore Beauty and many others. Our international business is also growing quickly, with established clients in the US, Europe, Japan and Latin America.

LUX was co-founded by an Ex-Googler and is backed by well-known institutional investors, including Investec and W23, the investment-arm of Woolworth’s Group. We have a hard-working and super fun team that strongly values diversity while generating exceptional value for clients.

Requirements

Working closely with our Founders and CFO/VP of Strategy, you will:

  • Formulate a comprehensive marketing strategy catered to C-suite executives
  • Translate our strategic vision into insight-driven narratives across all channels
  • Readily lead both analytic and aesthetic projects, understanding both are critical
  • Develop a high-performance culture of design, content and digital excellence
  • Lead and inspire team members and peers by demonstrating best practices
  • Generate bold and inventive ideas for client acquisition and revenue growth
  • Create or source beautiful design to instil client confidence and understanding
  • Devise a strategy to delight prospects and clients through their entire journey with LUX
  • Collaborate effectively with sales, product, and service to coordinate message alignment
  • Implement and measure campaigns to drive high-ROI client acquisition and retention
  • Measure and maximise NPS to help drive retention, growth, and referral business
  • Achieve desired goals while managing expenses to be within agreed budget
  • Lead public relations efforts and guide brand development/awareness in all areas

You’re perfect for this role if you have:

  • Strong interest in human behaviour, especially in enterprise-level B2B relationships
  • Experience in high-revenue growth technology, software or digital advertising companies
  • Established best practices in all digital channels, inc. search, social, video, and email
  • A passion for innovation and standardisation into scalable/repeatable processes
  • Keen interest in the pace, opportunities, and challenges of a start-up environment
  • Strong stakeholder management experience, both senior and junior development
  • Excellent attention to detail in all written, verbal, analytic, and digital collateral
  • A motivated, problem-solving mentality that requires only modest guidance to succeed
  • Expertise in Google Analytics and quantifying campaign performance
  • Advanced experience with a variety of CRM, marketing, and design software
  • University degree in marketing or similar field; additional certifications viewed positively
  • 10+ years of experience including ecommerce, leadership, and high-value B2B products
  • Current Aussie working rights
