About the role

  • Help our product teams drive and measure continuous improvements against our key software delivery performance metrics.
  • Invest in our software automation, quality, security, compliance, measurement, reliability, scalability, performance, efficiency, and developer experience.
  • Engage with our team, internal customers, and other stakeholders with clear communication and inclusive collaboration.
  • Advocate for continuous improvement of systems and processes within the team, and across the organization.
  • Coach and/or train colleagues on the principles and practices we value by championing our sensible defaults.
  • Promote a culture of psychological safety, accountability and autonomy.
  • What you'll bring with you

  • Proficient interpersonal and communication skills, reliably able to represent the team when collaborating with external teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficient with multiple mainstream programming languages.
  • Experience in developing container (Docker) based applications.
  • Experience in designing/maintaining event-driven systems
  • Experience in developing/managing applications in AWS using Terraform
  • Competent in enhancing developer experience, with demonstrated ability to identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
  • Proficient with root cause analysis, with demonstrated ability to critically analyse systems and apply creative thinking to ideate lateral solutions.
  • Proficient with software design patterns and coding/testing best practices.
  • Competent in core general skill areas such as learning, feedback, mentoring and coaching.
