We’re looking for a highly motivated product marketing expert to join our growing team and help realise Shippit’s exciting expansion plans. Working across APAC, you’ll be joining our marketing team at a time when you can really influence how we go to market in the region.

We’re looking for someone who is keen to learn, not afraid to roll their sleeves up and who will work collaboratively across the organisation to ensure superb delivery of marketing activity that drives business growth. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

This is a newly created role that sits at the heart of driving customer, commercial and brand success for Shippit across the APAC region. You will support the Head of Marketing and Chief Product Officer in establishing our product marketing function, leading the development of our product marketing strategy and the delivery of go to market activity that drives feature adoption.
Influencing & engaging across the organization, you will be responsible for delivering best-in-class sales enablement and ensuring use of compelling, consistent, customer-led messaging across the business.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategy:  Build a deep understanding of the market and competitive landscape, develop the customer-facing proposition and pricing strategy for all new product launches and lead the development of annual & go to market plans that achieve acquisition and utilisation targets. 
  • Activate:  Create a repeatable go to market process for all product launches (i.e. what to communicate, who to communicate to, and when to communicate). Work collaboratively with Product, Sales and broader marketing team to ensure engagement, understanding and alignment, and inspire joint ownership & delivery of the plan.
  • Communications: Ensure all product positioning and messaging resonates with our target buyer personas, clearly addresses key pain points and articulates our point of difference.
  • Insights/Performance Monitoring:  Design, implement and track metrics on the programs you own. 
  • Sales enablement: Work closely with Sales to ensure consistency in the way we talk about and position our product/features. Develop sales enablement tools, training, and collateral for each stage of the customer journey.
  • Team:  Lead and coach Product Marketing Manager, building engagement and capability while delivering on business objectives
  • POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years product marketing experience in tech or B2B, preferably in a high growth environment
  • Highly commercial, data driven marketer with demonstrated experience building value propositions and contributing to GTM strategies based on customer and data insights
  • Demonstrated experience working with Product teams to develop and launch new product propositions
  • Experience working in a multi-team/ “cross-functional” environment, with ability to work collaboratively to drive change, demonstrating strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Strong people leadership skills and experience in managing a small team.
