Do you thrive on helping customers fix their technical issues, and love to problem solve?

As a Customer Support Consultant you will work on a wide range of challenging and interesting problems, supporting our customers, to to support the deployment and use of the Phocas suite of products. Our software is MS SQL server based, we use our own mapping DB creation software and various techniques to create extraction and staging layers, and our help desk software is Jira (Atlassian).

Your day to day includes:

  • Delivering technical support and resolve request issues from Phocas’ end users
  • Troubleshooting to identify the cause of a problem, provide workaround resolutions, root cause analysis and major incident management
  • Diagnose system and application issues and implement corrective actions
  • Take ownership of support cases ensuring we are providing our customer with the highest level of support

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or Tertiary education in Information Technology or related course
  • 6 to 12 months experience supporting software or IT products in a support, or a customer service environment
  • A positive and ‘can-do’ attitude, and a commitment to resolving issues for customers
  • Some knowledge on SQL, data points integration, databases and/or data analytics, from your studies, is ideal
  • You are comfortable working remotely across client sites, and be willing to work closely with our USA and UK offices.
