This role is responsible for facilitating and deepening the relationship during the first key phases of our Partners journey with Xero, transitioning them from setup to product usage at pace. You’ll be the key Point of Contact, guiding and consulting with Partners as they accelerate through the Xero Partner Program onboarding stages and through to their first stages of growth on the platform. 

You will own development of deployment plans, assisting them with their overall strategy, and painting the picture of their journey and experience they can expect to have with us. This includes introduction of an Account Manager where applicable.

You’ll own the  effective building of relationships with all stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure a positive experience. You will also help with facilitating education, events and forums to support new Partners with confidently using the Xero suite of products is also a key part of driving success in this role

What you’ll do

  • Directly liaise with potential Partners via email, phone, webinars and events, with a focus on the most effective means of engagement throughout the journey
  • Assess new Partner opportunities upon handover from Partner Onboarding Specialists, measuring Total Addressable Market, developing account plans, and ongoing communication of the overall path to success with the Partner Program
  • Segment/ assess opportunities effectively
  • Remotely influence and build rapport with potential Partners
  • Maintain momentum and act as central point of contact and relationship owner for all of your assigned Partners throughout their onboarding journey
  • Planning- Monitor patch, including assessing performance, system administration and preparation for timely handoverRespond to all handed over accounts in a timely manner
  • Provide phone-based engagement with clients to handle day-to-day issues, responding in a timely manner, including those submitted via email (cases)
  • What you’ll bring with you

  • Telesales experience
  • Ability to undertake outbound calls to customers in a consistent and timely manner
  • Knowledge of  accounting practices and small to medium business needs
  • CRM discipline
  • Ability to quickly build and deepen rapport with multiple stakeholders via telephone/video call and occasional face to face meetings
  • Act as pipeline quality gatekeeping / coach to Partner Onboarding specialists, also providing key inside to Technical Lead / Managers
  • Strong engagement and discovery skills and ability to effectively communicate value propositions to business owners and employees
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships throughout the key initial growth journey with Xero (3-6 months or more)
