With exciting, ambitious growth plans, we’re on the hunt for an emerging Talent Acquisition Specialist, based in Melbourne. You will be an integral part of the HR team and entire hiring lifecycle, and are creative and energetic in your approach to outreach and building pipeline, with candidate experience always top of mind.  

You’ll be adept at juggling priorities, and a pro at understanding business needs and building the sourcing strategies needed to fill a variety of roles. 

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Recruiting and screening candidates for current and future positions;
  • Developing, testing, and tracking recruitment strategies to create an effective sourcing plan for top talent;
  • Working with the HR Lead to create and introduce effective recruitment processes;
  • Ensuring the candidate experience is second to none - from first contact, through to onboarding of successful candidates;
  • Building relationships with candidate communities; maintaining and nurturing a network of potential candidates.
  • Your Skillset:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, which will come in handy as you partner with our leaders to understand their hiring needs and support them through the hiring process;
  • Previous experience in a talent team - perhaps you’re a team coordinator, ready to take the next step?! 
  • Snazzy technical skills, with experience using an ATS (we use Lever!) and/or other HR software programs for candidate management;
  • Strong administrative and time management skills;
  • A willingness to try new things and challenge the status quo;
  • Experience in data and analytics is advantageous;
  • As a foundational member of the HR team, your experience working in a hyper-growth environment will come in handy;
  • We’re a growing HR team - with many of the culture and engagement ideas/events sitting within this team. A desire and willingness to be involved in some of these initiatives would be amazing!
