Annalise.ai was formed through a unique partnership between Harrison.ai and Australia's largest medical imaging service provider, I-MED Radiology Network. Leveraging our diverse and extensive medical imaging dataset, Annalise.ai is developing tools to assist Radiologists by seamlessly integrating into their current workflow to provide diagnostic support. Our suite of comprehensive AI-solutions will support radiologists during their end-to-end process of imaging interpretation. 
 
About your role
We are in an exciting phase of rapid growth at Annalise.ai and as we continue to grow, we have identified the need to find a Commercial Finance Manager to help shape our Finance Function and support our Commercial team as we scale quickly over the next year and beyond. 
  
Reporting to our Chief Commercial Officer with a dotted line to the Head of Finance, as the Commercial Finance Manager you will be an integral member of the team and hold responsibility for delivering commercial insights and supporting operational activities throughout the organisation through ownership of the Finance function. You will partner with senior leadership across different geographies to understand commercial goals and design a robust roadmap to achieve them by building scalable financial reporting and analytical processes. 

Note: we can support remote working for this role anywhere within Australia.

What you'll do:

  • Actively engage and partner with the Commercial team, develop strategic plans and business cases to support revenue forecasts;
  • Perform both contract and customer profitability analysis;
  • Develop sound financial assessments of new contracts to ensure financial risks are properly recognised and addressed;
  • Contract commercials structuring/modelling and document control. Develop financial models and build business cases to evaluate new business ideas;
  • Identify key business drivers and provide insightful analysis to help the commercial business to grow revenues and manage costs;
  • Perform detailed financial analysis to support financial and operational outcomes;
  • Prepare internal reports for executive leadership to support decision making;
  • Work with individual departments to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Budgets and consolidate into an overall corporate budget;
  • Ensure accurate, relevant and timely communication of budgets and forecast cycles to both management and the Board;
  • Work with international subsidiaries to consolidate financial results and communicate to executive leadership and Board of Directors;
  • Support the administration and oversight of a global Employee Share Option Plan; and
  • Review and continuous improvement of the month end process.
  • What will help you succeed:

  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience;
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance with CA or CPA qualification; 
  • Experience in a fast-paced start-up environment and B2B business;
  • Experience in budget and forecast preparation;
  • Experienced business partner with excellent communication and influencing skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously and deliver key projects within tight deadlines; and
  • Ability to translate business requirements / queries into financial analysis and financial projections / models.
  • Nice to have (but not essential):

  • Experience in implementing ERP systems;
  • Experience with Joint Venture entities; and/or
  • Experience with using data visualisation and analytics tools.
