Airtasker recently launched a new feature that enables Taskers to list their services on Airtasker. This feature is a shift away from the traditional “post a task” flow to a new model enabling greater engagement between customers and taskers.
The Digital Merchandiser role will design and implement merchandising strategy for the display, presentation and promotion of listings on the Airtasker site. The strategy should attract more customers, lead to an increased assignment rate of listings and contribute to the commercial outcomes for the Tasker Listings product feature.

What you'll do:
Curate content for promotion on Airtasker’s homepage that tells a story, inspires customers and drives engagement. Design and own the operations behind getting a new category live on the homepage.Work with the Brand team to carry out market research to identify new, emerging and seasonal trends. Dig into customer behavioural data, including interviews, to get to know Airtasker’s customers and what makes them tick.Identify high quality content for promotion on external channels and support the creation of advertising campaigns across email and social media. Run experiments and work with Product Managers and Data Analysts to analyse the performance of promoted content to promote data-informed decisions.Work with the Marketing team to ensure that merchandising initiatives align with our broader Marketing and Content strategy and comply with Brand guidelines.Support outreach initiatives and collaborate with our community of Taskers to create and publish new content.
What it takes to be successful in this role:
Solid market understanding of how customers shop online.Strong merchandising technical skills with a digital product.Strong website technical skills.Superior knowledge of ecommerce platforms and online shopping mechanisms.Strong knowledge of analytical tools.Strong communication, collaboration and project management skills.Ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
