This is a role to join our Buying team and be part of Showpo’s ongoing growth that will focus on assisting the Buyer to drive key category sales growth. This is an essential role to ensure the smooth running of the Buying team, working with the Buyer, you will ensure all admin tasks are completed, along with supporting the buyer for both Branded and In House buys. It is the perfect next role for an experienced Assistant Buyer who is interested in pursuing a career in a fast-paced fashion buying team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Arrival Performance reporting and analysis: Identifying best sellers and proposing initiatives to maximise on these & Identifying worst sellers and managing these accordingly
  • Heavy Line Cover management - working to increase SKU productivity and maintain ideal cover for categories
  • PO raising and order management for correctly and accurately updating records
  • Negotiation of pricing for all repeat orders for In-House designs
  • Sample Management: Execute Sample Management for catalogue shoots, relevant fit projects and relevant development styles & Ensuring styles are marked off and handed over correctly to relevant teams.
  • Coordinate and complete back to warehouse procedures for all samples
  • Maintain and update Website Edit Population
  • Assisting the Buyer with selecting and developing appropriate ranges for both Branded and inhouse products. This includes researching, planning and selection of viable ranges.
  • Branded reporting to assist in preparation for seasonal buys.
  • Preparing Sell through reports and EOM seasonal SWOTS 
  • Regular trend Research and competitive analysis to determine pre-season and on going trends for apparel that are relevant for our customers.
  • Analysing departmental reports, reviewing sales performance, stock levels, ASP and using this information to propose action to improve future sales performance

  • Experience within womens fashion buying preferred
