As the Senior Partner Marketing Manager, you’ll be playing a key role in accelerating the growth and development of Xero Australia’s Partner (accounting and bookkeeping) community through excellence in strategic planning and delivery. 

Reporting to the Head of Marketing (Marketing Director in the interim), you will champion #beautiful community interactions and marketing programs that supercharge product utilisation, customer engagement and advocacy, as well as drive product depth and channel revenue.

With your years of experience in B2B marketing, you’ll have proven expertise at balancing strategic and executional requirements and delivering tangible results. You’ll be naturally curious, commercially minded and an excellent communicator, team leader and cross functional collaborator. By leveraging your knowledge of the customer, product, sales and all available data you will effectively prioritise, plan and lead the delivery of innovative, measurable campaigns and tests, thought-leading content and customer experiences that continue to ‘deliver the unexpected’ that Xero is renowned for.

About the role

  • Develop the strategic AU Partner Marketing plan and own the roadmap to deliver to Sales and Marketing objectives, product/industry milestones
  • Immerse yourself in the world of the customer (Partner) by staying up to date on Xero’s product suite as well as the partner journey, segmentation, research, NPS and community forums to inform and refresh your approach
  • Set the strategy for optimising AU partner lifecycle marketing at key stages across multiple channels, particularly digital
  • Advocate for our accountants and bookkeepers in relevant global and regional working sessions and product and GTM discussions
  • Effectively lead and inspire a team to achieve partner marketing objectives, while nurturing and coaching less experienced team members
  • Monitor and regularly report on partner sales and performance tracking and campaign ROI, including experimentation outcomes
  • Closely monitor industry activity and keep informed on trends, innovations, and changes
  • Work closely with the AU Brand and Digital Marketing teams to bring to life Partner acquisition and retention initiatives and campaigns
  • Work hand in glove with local Accounts and Sales teams to understand strategic priorities, challenges and support initiatives and key accounts

  • What you'll bring with you

  • 8+ years of marketing experience
  • Experience within a B2B or professional services environment across the full customer lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience driving and delivering successful GTM campaigns - end to end
  • Proven understanding and experience using Xero highly regarded and/or Accounting Bookkeeping Industry experience
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and/or compare program results, market research trends and competitive data to identify market opportunity, key learnings, with the ability to make solid, strategic level recommendations
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
