As Showpo goes through it's next stage of growth, we are so excited to bring on the new role: Head of People and Culture. This person will play an instrumental role in creating, driving and implementing the Showpo People and Culture Strategy throughout the business. They will sit on the executive team and be the voice of our people, aligning HR policies, practices and programs to Showpo's strategy and business direction.
Development and Coaching - Work with leaders to manage development plans for their team members, and provide coaching and guidance to leaders to help them get the most out of their teamsStaff Engagement - Manage and report on staff engagement and provide data driven insights and initiatives to the wider business to strengthen culturePeople Operations - Oversee the on-boarding and off-boarding of all team members at ShowpoPayroll Management - Oversee the payroll process and answer first line support requestsTalent Management - Oversee and conduct end to end recruitment, manage recruitment agency relationships, provide guidance on organisational structure and talent pipe-liningHR Policy Management - Manage all of our HR policies, ensuring that our team members understand and adhere to them, whilst making amendments when necessary.Employee Relations - Managing all greivences, disciplinary meetings, performance management, supporting managers on coaching to get the most of our their teamsPerformance Reviews - Manage the biannual performance reviews and the annual pay review processData Management - Ensure all of our employee data is safe, secure, confidential and organised so that relevant data and reporting can take place OH&S Management - Ensure that our workplace remains a safe place for all of our amazing employees
Skills and Experience that we are looking for
Experience working in a founder-led startup, reporting into, or part of the executive teamConfident in their abilities and advice - you're not afraid to stand up for what you think is the right decision, even if it's the unpopular one.You have experience setting strategy for the business, and take pride in executing these strategies yourself to bring them to lifeExperience working for large, established eCommerce retailer (highly regarded)Working knowledge of General Retail, and Storage, Services and Wholesale AwardsSound understanding of employment law in Australia, as well as OH&S through SafeWorkExperience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (Lever experience highly desirable)Experience working within an HRIS (FlareHR experience highly desirable)We would love to see examples of where you have rolled out processes from scratch and reworked existing processes to improve themA commercial mindset when making decisions and recommendations is paramount to success in this role
