Position Summary

As the Technical Writer & Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for authoring and editing a variety of content that will be published across multiple platforms. You will ensure that new features and functionality are appropriately documented so that our customers understand how to configure, implement, and maintain them.

You will interface with product management, development, quality assurance and customer success to prepare and deliver instructional documents, articles, walkthroughs and videos with the main goal to communicate complex, technical information more easily.

The ideal candidate is a technically minded, self-starter who navigates ambiguity with ease and enjoys collaboration but is confident operating independently as well. Desired Skills & Experience!

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, English, Marketing, Business, or another relevant discipline
  • 2-5+ years previous experience in a technical writing / instructional design role
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effective listening, communication (verbal and written) and problem-solving skills
  • Successful time management and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Team player who works productively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment
  • SaaS experience preferred but not essential


  • Communicate highly technical information about complex IT systems and products into simplistic language for end-users, key stakeholders, and partners
  • Produce high-quality documentation about complex IT solutions into simplistic language that blends instructional and technical writing
  • Own our online help center, “Knowledge Base” and Community questions
  • Produce, but not limited to technical how-to articles, long-form guides, videos, faqs and walkthroughs to help our clients better understand and adopt the platform
  • Manage the end-to-end documentation process by collaborating across teams to review documents, compile inputs/corrections, resolve incompatible comments, and deliver final publishable documentation
  • Create new articles and update existing ones in order to increase our customer's ability to self-serve
