On the heels of SafetyCulture’s exponential global growth, we are hiring a Partnerships Account Executive in Sydney to join our growing Partnerships team. The Partnerships team is focussed on key revenue-driving partnerships which will fuel the continued growth of SafetyCulture globally. This is an exciting opportunity to be a foundational member of this team and help to define and optimise this global program. As a business SafetyCulture already has more than 27,000 global customers and we are looking to extend our business model through the recruitment and development of a successful channel partnerships portfolio.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to and working closely with our APAC Sales Manager, based out of Sydney to drive and shape our Partnerships program. Our partner program covers a range of different types of partner channels ranging from referral, reseller and technology partners and this partnership role will be involved in growing all aspects of the program holistically. As a quota-carrying member of the team, you will achieve success through the recruitment and enablement of partners turning them into SafetyCulture’s biggest advocates. You are a program builder who enjoys enabling new revenue streams, driving sales and marketing activities with your partners leading to SafetyCulture product adoption and revenue producing alliances across the region.

What will I be doing?

  • Defining the Partner acquisition strategy and work closely with the marketing and Partnerships business development team to recruit and onboard Partners
  • Program managing the Partner journey from recruitment, onboarding, enablement, activation to revenue generation and own a quarterly quota
  • Understanding the Partner’s business and be able to clearly articulate how SafetyCulture’s products can drive value for the partner and their customers 
  • Helping to build the automated partner enablement program and work with the internal enablement and customer success teams to add more to the automated program based on partner’s needs
  • Assisting marketing and RevOps to add sales tools and materials for use by Partners in to the self serve Partner portal
  • Using Salesforce to record all activity with the partner including any sales opportunities
  • Providing day-to-day sales support for premium partners and generate pipeline from partners
  • Serving as internal partnerships advocate (liaising with product, finance, RevOps, legal) to ensure partner and customer satisfaction
  • Tracking and being responsible for revenue and pipeline metrics from partners
  • Helping to build the deal registration process and ensure different teams work within the predefined rules of engagement 
  • Coordinating with internal New Business and Existing business Account Executives on sales opportunities that have been originated by the PartnerRun QBRs with premium partners
  • Supporting the Sales Manager APAC and Global Partnerships team to build this foundational program to scale partnerships and alliances that can be leveraged in other regions 
  • Participating in industry events such as trade shows and seminars.
  • Presenting/speaking at local events.
  • What do I need?

  • Experience closing deals in a B2B SaaS solution sales motion working successfully with legal, finance stakeholders. 
  • Thoughtful about the strategy and metrics you set, but also able to hustle and execute on those plans. This role is very hands-on
  • Experience uncovering customer pain points and navigating discussions around value proposition
  • Experience successfully managing multiple, diverse internal and external stakeholders 
  • Balanced in developing short-term solutions and celebrating small wins, while iterating and optimizing partner operations and experience for the long-term
  • A creative thinker who drives new ideas to build the SafetyCulture’s partnership ecosystem beyond traditional models. Willing to experiment, learn and share learnings across the team 
  • Ability to build relationships with and strongly influence C-Level decision makers
  • Must be able to create and deliver strong presentations and product demonstrations
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong initiative and creativity applied through technology
  • Ability to excel in a team-oriented, collaborative, and fast-paced environment
