We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to own the development of our APIs and Integrations. This role will be at the centre of SafetyCulture’s next evolution from a great app to a great platform

As a Product Manager at SafetyCulture, you’ll have the opportunity to work on complex problems that impact millions of users worldwide and operate at a scale few other Australian tech companies have reached. You will collaborate with a small group of driven, curious and customer-minded Product Managers and have a lot of fun doing it.

What you'll do

  • Build a deep understanding of our customers, how they are using iAuditor to work more productively and safely, and the other systems and technologies they rely upon.
  • Define and own the vision, strategy and product roadmap for the API/I team and translate company strategy and goals for your team.
  • Work with internal engineering teams to build public APIs and integrations, which can unlock the creativity of customers and third parties to build on top of iAuditor.
  • Ensure that the team is continuously finding ways to make it easier for customers to 
  • discover, turn-on and get value from the integrations available.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with an agile, cross-functional software development team, including engineering, design, data analytics, and marketing to deliver product experiences that delight and activate our new customers.
  • Champion the API and Integrations team across our products and collaborate with other product teams on when and how to introduce new features throughout our customers’ journeys.
  • Communicate frequently to the broader business including Leadership, Go To Market, and Operations teams about your vision, roadmap, features, decisions and insights. You will continuously seek out feedback.
  • Own the success of our public APIs and integrations, analyse customer behaviour and product metrics obsessively, and iterate effectively. You’ll measure success by outcomes, not outputs.

  • Experienced - you have successfully managed Agile product teams before and have delivered impactful product experiences that ‘move the needle’.
  • Curious - you continuously seek out feedback from customers and stakeholders, explore competitor and market-leading products and apply insights to prioritisation and iteration. 
  • Data & Growth minded - you are comfortable analysing product and customer data, identifying key success measures, developing hypotheses, running statistically significant experiments and sharing learnings.
  • Strong communicator - you can tailor your communications to every audience, motivate teams through storytelling and ensure no one is surprised by new changes.
  • Team Player - you work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage tasks and interests from many stakeholder groups.
  • Self-starter - you are comfortable taking the initiative and confidently driving your product forward.
  • Data savvy - Confident to seek out the data you need, using tools such as Amplitude, Looker, Fullstory, and/or SQL.
  • Passionate about development - you have a passion for software and programming, ideally having worked as a developer yourself and supported services in production.
  • Technical - you can build an in-depth understanding of software systems, and help frame the approach to building and driving the adoption of new integrations and public APIs.
