The Healthcare Specialist’s primary responsibility is to develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing merchants and pro-actively looking for opportunities to cross-sell the Tyro banking and EFTPOS products. They will liaise with merchants and internal stakeholders to ensure that day-to-day customer needs are met in an efficient and timely manner. 

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage the needs of a portfolio of existing Tyro Healthcare customers to retain business and minimise churn
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and scorecard metrics, demonstrating consistent and sustained performance
  • Work with other internal stakeholders to ensure that day-to-day customer needs are met in an efficient and timely manner
  • Ensures that new merchants are transacting and aim to reduce the time to first date of transaction
  • Educates merchants of internal workflows and processes to ensure their enquiries are attended to appropriately within a timely          manner
  • Provide training to merchants to ensure complete uptake of Tyro products and features.
  • Monitor merchant’s transaction activity and proactively investigate decreasing trends in volumes
  • Pro-actively look for opportunities to upsell Tyro banking and EFTPOS products within a portfolio
  • Proactively seek to expand their knowledge on Tyro's products and services and stay up to date with any changes
  • Contribute meaningful ideas and strategies for the growth of the industry they sell into.
  • Demonstrates a level of creativity and innovation to achieve sales targets
  • Escalate any customer which is deemed to be ‘dissatisfied’ through our IDR process
  • Experience Required:

  • REQUIRED: Experience in the Health Care industry
  • B2B sales experience
  • Have an enthusiasm for customer service and sales 
  • Have a keen attention to detail and follow-up
  • Build strong relationships both with customers and internally
  • Continuously look for opportunities for process improvements
