We are looking for a knowledgeable Payroll Administrator to help process the company’s monthly and fortnightly payrolls. You will be the one to calculate pay, commissions and bonuses based on hours worked and administer payments.

As our payroll administrator, you are able to use payroll software (such as ADP) and excel with accuracy and efficiency. You are good with numbers and can be trusted with sensitive information. You also have great communication skills to interact with colleagues and senior executives when necessary.

What you'll be doing

  • Accurate entry of new starter details into ADP
  • Updating and maintenance of database and folders with changes to salary, SG, novated leases, compensation benefits etc.
  • Calculating and reconciling accurate pays incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc as required. 
  • Receive approval from upper management for payments when needed.
  • Preparation of termination calculations, in line with NES
  • Preparation, reconciliation and executing pay cycles through ADP. 
  • Collation of end of pay reports, post pay archiving.
  • Liaising with various internal and external stakeholders with any issues and queries.
  • Preparation of ah-hoc reporting for management, finance department etc.
  • What you bring to the team

  • Previous experience as a Payroll Administrator or Payroll Officer 
  • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices 
  • Strong knowledge of legislation, payroll compliance and regulations of employment awards 
  • Intermediate/advanced MS Excel and good knowledge of relevant payroll software (Exposure to ADP Payline/Payforce ideal, but not necessary)
  • Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
  • Outstanding organisational ability with great attention to detail
