Atlassian is continuing to hire with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. All new and existing Atlassians will continue to work from home until it’s safe to return to our offices. When our offices re-open, we will provide the choice to work from home or return to work in an office unless a job requirement makes it necessary for a particular role to be performed at an Atlassian office.
Enjoy solving problems at scale? Are you passionate about building robust and reliable systems? Do you want to work on one of Atlassian’s fastest growing products? Join us in the Jira Service Management team for your next big challenge!
Jira Service Management represents Atlassian’s next big step into the IT service management market, and we are looking for an SRE to help us build out scalable cloud services which will bring the best of Agile and DevOps together.
This is a great opportunity to join a new team based in Sydney, working alongside some of our newest team members that joined as part of Atlassian’s recent acquisition of Mindville. The team will be responsible for scaling and supporting the services that will deliver a rich asset management and configuration experience to our growing IT customer base.
An ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about building reliable services, enjoys systems engineering, keeps on top of industry trends (particularly those related to reliability & scale) and loves bringing their knowledge into the team. We'd love it if you brought a deep understanding of modern cloud infrastructure, programming expertise, operational experience and a desire to change the status quo. We'll support you with robust backend systems, mature processes, and a motivated team with a strong desire to not f*** the customer. We're looking for an engineer who can analyse and help improve our services and processes to get us to an even higher level of availability, scalability, and reliability.
