About this Position

Joining as the newest member of our high-performance Melbourne based R&D Team you will debut as our first full time DevOps Engineer.  This means, when it comes to further evolving and perfecting our DevOps practices and processes, you’ll lead the way.

Key areas of responsibility will include;

  • Managing our deployments, configuration and updates of camera systems around the world;
  • Maintaining multiple AWS cloud environments using Terraform;
  • Provisioning camera systems using AWS and linux, configuring and connecting them to the cloud network;
  • Provisioning Google devices for image review activities;
  • Managing any information systems compliance and audit activities;
  • Contributing to system architecture design and documentation;
  • Supporting real world deployments of our solutions (level 2/3 support);
  • Supporting sales activities as required (e.g. proposals and reports);
  • Developing scripts and other tools for effective system maintenance and support of the operations team;
  • Maintaining CI/CD using Bitbucket Pipelines and Deployments;
  • Performing ad-hoc system testing where required; and,
  • Contributing to technical, product, user and internal documentation

This position boasts exposure to a diverse range of technologies - from real time systems to sensor fusion algorithms to deep learning algorithms to cloud platforms and user interfaces!  Importantly, you’ll be collaborating with exceptional teammates in all respects – competent, collaborative, constructive, intelligent and diligent.

Key technologies you’ll be working with include AWS, Terraform, Bash, Python, Google devices and G Suite Admin Console.
