About Zeller

We’re reimagining business banking. Small to medium sized businesses are the backbone of the Australian economy, and we’re here to champion them by building the next generation of financial services.

Zeller is challenging the status quo —  and, eventually, the big banks.

Why is it exciting to work at Zeller?

Do you seek out challenges, and thrive on coming up with creative solutions for unique (and often original) ideas? We want you on our team. Zeller is building an entire financial services and payments ecosystem from the ground up. We’re already making waves in the Fintech industry, yet we’re just getting started.

Founded in 2020, we’ve held onto the vibrant, innovative feel of a start-up whilst growing at rapid pace. With the backing of some of the world's leading investors, we’ve also earned the pretty cool moniker of being ‘Australia’s most valuable pre-launch start up’. Ever.

Our goals are ambitious and exciting, and we need an incredibly skilled team to achieve them. When you join Zeller, you’ll quickly learn the team are champions for each other, and one of our strongest attributes is our team-first mentality.

There are some incredible things on the horizon at Zeller - we can't wait for you to join us.

Zeller is searching for an exceptional Paid Search Specialist to join the Growth team. Reporting to the Performance Marketing & Analytics Manager, this person will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, optimisation and reporting of all paid search campaigns for Zeller’s growing range of products, services and merchants.

You will be our go-to expert for paid search, and work closely with our wider marketing team to plan, buy, and optimise targeted media campaigns, delivering on direct response goals. You’ll scale our programs with large budgets amongst an ambitious and growing team, owning both the strategy and execution for paid search — with the opportunity to scale-out and own more channels over time. You’ll help us devise cross-channel campaigns and help achieve ambitious growth targets.

This position is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for an up-and-coming digital marketing and paid search specialist to shape the future of paid growth at Australia’s fastest growing scale-up.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Execute SEM campaigns for all Zeller products and services to achieve activation, leads, ROI and CAC targets.
  • Manage campaign spend accordingly to the defined budget, forecasting monthly costs/performance and reconciling any discrepancies that may arise.
  • Conducting keyword research and competitor analysis.
  • Audience management across all accounts.
  • Compiling ad-hoc weekly and monthly reporting, and presenting results to senior leadership as required — reporting on everything from keyword buys, to competitive trends, to ad-copy learnings.
  • Optimising copy and landing pages for paid search engine marketing campaigns.
  • Implement a detailed framework for experimenting and testing initiatives.
  • Identify trends and keep up to date with the latest updates from Google Ads & Bing Ads platform.
  • Collaborating with the broader marketing and creative teams to execute ad-hoc campaigns for different channels such as display, social and video advertising.
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of marketing plans, product launches and other campaigns.
  • Your experience and skillset:

  • Experience in a Search Marketing/Search Support role, preferably experience in both agency and client side. An expert in Google Ads and Bing Ads.
  • Hands-on experience implementing six-digit monthly budgets.
  • Strong capacity for data analysis.
  • Proficient with Google Analytics, knowledge of data analytics packages in Python or SQL is highly valuable.
  • Ability to query reporting API endpoints.
  • Being able to act rapidly to unexpected behaviour of the accounts or redefinition of the marketing targets.
  • Experience liaising with brand and marketing stakeholders and agencies.
  • A competitive fire, with a hunger to exceed your targets.
  • The 'Nice to Haves':

  • Previous experience in the fintech, finance or banking industry.
  • Previous experience working with a B2B product or service.
  • Like the rest of the team, you’ll benefit from:

    A competitive salary package, including equity from an early stage;
    A balanced, progressive and supportive work environment;
    Excellent parental leave and other leave entitlements;
    Hybrid working arrangements;
    Excellent learning and development opportunities;
    Plenty of fun and social opportunities - we love to come together as a team, both virtually and in person;
    Being part of one of Australia’s most exciting ‘scale-ups’.
