To support our growth, Swyftx is searching for a Level 1 Support Engineer who is passionate about providing exceptional customer support for technical issues to our internal employees.

About the opportunity:

The Level 1 Support Engineer will be responsible for supporting the growing Swyftx team in technical troubleshooting for a range of technologies. You will bring experience supporting both Windows and Mac laptops along with a keen interest in continuous learning.

You will have demonstrated your excellent customer service abilities while working to troubleshoot and manage all level 1 support issues. You will bring experience working with a ticketing system while providing deskside, telephone and email support.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide level 1 support to end users.
  • Set up workstations and hardware (both Windows and Mac).
  • Monitor and respond quickly to incoming requests related to IT issues.
  • Support Office 365 for business.
  • Help create systems and processes to make IT support for users more seamless.
  • Work with a ticketing system to track and manage the technical support requests.

About you:

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Ability to update the IT support ticketing system with clear documentation.
  • Previous experience in a level 1 support engineer or helpdesk role.
  • Any completed certifications or training in CompTIA or related to Microsoft products is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Great attention to detail and time management skills.
