The Role
Based in Brisbane and sitting on the global People & Culture team, you will be responsible for assessing, attracting and engaging with top talent globally, on behalf of Megaport. You will be an advocate for Megaport, driving our talent sourcing strategies and delivering a second-to-none candidate experience! You will be an outgoing individual, responsible for attending networking events and career fairs, and building awareness around the Megaport brand.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Identifying talented and qualified candidates that hit all criteria through various sourcing techniques.
  • Creating strong talent pools for current and future hiring needs by utilizing best recruiting practices and ensuring positive candidate experiences.
  • Interacting with potential candidates through different social media platforms and professional networks to develop and nurture strong relationships.
  • Delivering top talent and strong recommendations from your talent pools, for open or upcoming positions.
  • Providing weekly reports on activities, findings, market analytics and conversion rates.
  • Collaborating with your team members to understand timelines and priorities.
  • Developing and driving referral campaigns across the global business, and contributing to social media campaigns.
  • Represent Megaport by attending networking events and career fairs, and assist with organizing these events when applicable. 
  • Assisting with additional P&C projects as required.
  • What We Are Looking For

  • 3 + years of experience as a dedicated strategic sourcer within a fast paced and global environment.
  • Strong reputation for both building talent pipelines and delivering the right candidates.
  •  Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches for various vacancies at any given time.
  • Thorough understanding for talent mapping, data utilization, sourcing methodologies and industry best practices related to sourcing.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and sales skills with an ability to present Megaport and the opportunity that is on offer
  • Familiarity with Applicant Track Systems and Candidate Management Systems.
  • Passionate about people; building and nurturing relationships, and aligning great talent with exciting opportunities.
  • Team-player, capable of working in fast paced environments and adaptable to change.
