The Opportunity

We are seriously ramping up our membership sales and need a talented Sales Team Leader to join our Growth team.

We acquire the majority of our inbound leads through digital marketing, these leads are triaged and booked in for discovery meetings by our SDRs. You will be managing a team of 10-15 sales consultants responsible for turning these qualified leads into members, while maintaining our industry leading client experience and team culture. You will also work with the Head of Growth to optimise the team’s performance and processes to maximise sales and achieve our ambitious but achievable targets. 

You will participate in a team based commission incentive structure with generous accelerators for high performance. This role is full-time based out of our Head Office in Pyrmont, Sydney. We will be relocating to Surry Hills early next year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and coach your team to enable them to do their best work - having regular 1:1s, creating coaching plans, managing team enquiries and client escalations. 
  • KPI management - pipeline management, accountability and motivating the team to succeed every day.
  • Inducting and training new and existing team members to remove gaps and improve performance.
  • Liaising with the Legal and Client Success teams to ensure our sales strategy is in line with our delivery and client retention goals.
  • The Ideal Candidate

  • You have experience as a sales team leader, or have a minimum of 5 years experience as a BDM/B2B sales professional.
  • You live and breathe sales: you lead by example and you are constantly testing and learning to capture the best results from your team.
  • You are a natural teacher and love working with people: you genuinely care about the growth of your team members, and take a proactive approach to help them succeed.
