We are hiring a Carrier Services Business Analyst to help grow our Carrier Library. You will support the creation and operation of innovative products & features that impact the journey for recipient, merchant and carrier customers.

About the role

As a Business Analyst in the Carrier Services team, you will be responsible for the documentation of processes and creation of integration artefacts to support our delightful products and features. To succeed in this role, you will need a moderate understanding of software development and have worked closely with developers. Your proficiency should be in your ability to understand, analyse and construct meaningful, comprehensive documentation. Your team will look to you for guidance on scope, as a subject matter expert in the carrier services space.

You will:

  • Translate carrier specifications into requirements which are used to guide product development from end to end.
  • Work regularly with the Product Manager to prepare scope for new carrier integrations
  • Work regularly with the Product Manager and Carrier Services team on defect triage and maintenance.
  • Work regularly with Carrier Services developers on the finer details of each integration, refining scope and helping drive a consistent product.
  • Have experience in using Postman (or similar), competence in Excel and diagram-drawing tools.
  • Support the development team in testing/ troubleshooting third party systems
  • Become an expert in the Shippit carrier integration space and understand the relationship between ourselves and third party integrations.

About you

  • Proven experiences as a Business Analysis or Product Owner.
  • Previous experience in Ecomms or Logistics 
  • Track record of writing and maintaining documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Dedication to becoming an SME in our product space in order to build processes and promote quality and consistency in our integrations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel.
  • Innovative thinking and demonstrated problem-solving skills.
