About the team;
Partner Services is a core strategic function supporting and executing during key moments of our Accounting & Bookkeeping Partners Journey.  This function encompasses Partner Consulting (pre & post-sales), Partner Success Managers, Conversions & Migrations, Partner Training, Partner Enablement and Activations.

About the role;
This newly created role is a key position in the global partner services leadership team. The role will work closely with the GM of Partner Services & Experience, and the regional leaders, as well as cross functionally with global and regional Sales, Customer Success, Product and GTM teams. Responsible in developing clear operational plans that align to strategy, and support the establishment, delivery and optimisation of partner services operating models and capabilities.

Some of the things you'll do;

  • Lead the operating model that manages global and regional requirements and priorities for Global Partner Services, to deliver best-in-class experiences
  • Directly managing and growing the newly formed Global Migrations Team including establishing processes, structures and systems
  • Develop and implement comprehensive operational execution plans to enhance, optimize and deliver on the wider roadmap for the Partner Services function
  • Be a key contributor to the ongoing definition and evolution of the overall long-term global partner services strategy
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to align and support regional strategic objectives and initiatives
  • Help structure and solve business problems, collaborating and coordinating with a range of internal stakeholders to develop recommendations on a wide range of business issues
  • Work to remove barriers and champion the needs of the regional teams to succeed in achieving targets and core metrics
  • Work closely with counterparts in the global sales and customer success functions to ensure alignment on strategic objectives, operations and ways-of-working
  • Gain a deep understanding of the Xero product & platform and ensure the team’s knowledge of features and functionality is kept up to date via skills coaching and Xero training
  • Work closely with the local regional leaders and identify opportunities to link up with global teams and resources within Xero to grow together to meet strategic priorities and objectives
  • Responsible for overall leadership and development of the team

  • Strong people leadership skills and experience and experience building a high performing team
  • Experience leading teams through change
  • Experience establishing new processes, tools and systems
  • Strong knowledge of the SaaS and/or accounting and bookkeeping industry is preferred
  • Demonstrated direct team leadership experience and indirect team influence of cross-functional resources
  • Experience working in a matrix structure is a plus
  • Ability to build strong relationships 
  • Ability to cope with change in a fast paced dynamic environment experiencing growth and expansion
