EzyCollect is an Australian founded B2B startup on a mission to put smart technology in the hands of ambitious businesses, so they have the cash and confidence to manifest their dreams. Our SaaS-based accounts receivable solution complements accounting/ERP software (MYOB, Xero, NetSuite, SAP etc) to automate the process of getting paid. ezyCollect is looking for the next HR Manager to join our growing team. As a HR Manager, you will have a pivotal role in growing the company and its employees. You will be responsible for and oversee the planning, organising, executing and controlling all employee and workplace related activities within our organisation. This is a full time position working in our Sydney office, Monday to Friday.

The Role

  • Leading the people team strategies and policies, in line with the business requirements
  • Being the point of contact for people managers around recruitment, training and development
  • Preparing employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs
  • Maintaining a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets, monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions
  • Ensuring planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results and performance management by training managers to coach and discipline employees
  • Scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors
  • Maintaining employee benefits programs and informing employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends, recommending benefit programs to management, directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids; awarding benefit contracts, designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs
  • Be the point of contact for union representations
  • Maintaining management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
  • Maintaining historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Completing human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results and productivity levels 
  • Maintaining human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
  • Providing support to team managers regarding workplace matters
  • Requirements
