About the role:

Whispir is seeking an experienced growth marketing manager to join our fast-growing team. In this role, you will be tasked with creating and executing a best-in-class growth marketing strategy for a B2B business, focusing on customer acquisition. You will help lead our Australia based team to achieve team goals and grow in their careers.

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience using creative demand generation tactics to generate MQLs across multiple business lines. SaaS and B2B experience is a must in order to be successful in the role and be able to generate demand within our niche audiences.

As a senior manager, you will have a key role on our marketing team, and be responsible for developing and driving the go to market strategy in ANZ, reporting on OKRs, and making strategic recommendations to improve Whispir’s marketing. You will work closely with the Director of Growth Marketing, the Vice President of Australia & New Zealand, and the CMO. 

The role requires curiosity, strong organisation skills, and an analytical mindset. You’ll develop the marketing strategy for the Australia region—planning digital inbound marketing campaigns, partner marketing, and other field marketing activities. You must be comfortable moving quickly and problem-solving when dealing with ambiguity.

Responsibilities:

  • Create a growth marketing strategy and bring it to life
  • Collaborate with leads in brand, design, regional, and product marketing to ensure we are hitting our department goals effectively
  • Lead your team with a focus on individual career development
  • Drive MQLs across multiple business lines and own the marketing to sales handoff
  • Increase website conversion to grow lead generation
  • Collaborate with client-facing teams to optimise the customer journey
  • Define which KPIs matter to our team, report on those metrics, and optimise them over time

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8+ years of growth marketing experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have managed a growth marketing team at a startup or growing company
  • Excellent at data analysis
  • B2B and SaaS experience a must
  • Strong organisational and time management skills; ability to shift gears quickly and prioritize ruthlessly
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, internally and with outside vendors and partners w/ extreme attention to detail
