The role
This is a newly created role that sits with the Security and Workplace IT team, reporting directly to the Director of Security & Workplace IT.  As Program Manager , you will have accountability for a significant Program of work, cutting across the entire international Zip group. 

What your day looks like:

  • Formulation of the overall program delivery plan according to agreed priority.
  • Work with stakeholders varying from group executive to helpdesk staff, across the entire organisation to deliver defined benefits as per scope.
  • Be able to understand and articulate complex systems architecture and issues.
  • Define and manage risk across the overall program.
  • Oversee schedules, budgets and related governance activities for the programPlanning, sequence, and reporting on the various work streams of the project, coordinating both “inside team” and external resources from the broader Zip org and third parties.
  • Establishing and running governance forums.
  • Raising, tracking, and ensuring resolution of risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Acting as the point of contact for external delivery partners
  • To help us level up, you'll ideally have:

  • A track record of successfully leading project teams.
  • Experience leading Projects and Programs with a significant systems development and integration components.
  • Great people skills and clear communication skills with the ability to foster strategic partnerships.
  • Persistent, effective problem solver with a mix of analytical and creative thinking.
  • Previous experience taking full responsibility for the definition, documentation and successful completion of complex projects (typically with significant business, political, or high-profile impact, and high-risk dependencies).
  • Experience in large scale tooling migrations highly regarded.
