As we continue to expand and grow our global SaaS business, we are looking for a Group Financial Accountant to support our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Group Financial Accountant from an ASX listed company or an Audit Manager who has worked with listed clients to move into a commercial role.

What will you be doing?

  • Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheet and assist with investor reporting
  • Provide technical accounting support and advice to the business (transactions, investments)
  • Prepare technical accounting papers for the Audit, Risk & Compliance Committee and the Board of Directors
  • Prepare annual and half-year financial accounts for the Group
  • Assist with the preparation of audit files and assistance during the half-year and year-end audit
  • Identify/ implement opportunities to improve finance processes through simplification, automation and centralisation
  • Mentoring and development of Finance team members
  • Develop analysis and drive profit improvement initiatives to support the Group’s business operations commercial objectives, as required.
  • What you will bring to the role?

  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Experience in a similar role within a Big 4 / mid-tier audit environment
  • Demonstrated strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge
  • Experience in year-end and half-year listed reporting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate information to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills to influence and mentor direct reports and the confidence to collaborate with
  • Highly motivated and have the ability to multitask across job functions
