A bit about the role:
As Immutable grows, we are building a dedicated Data function to ensure we enable Immutable to make better informed data-driven decisions. We are seeking a Game Analyst across our entire studio footprint of Gods Unchained and Guild of Guardians to partner with the game design teams and studio.
The Game Analyst will support the game design teams of Immutable Studio to create fun and engaging games that users will love. They will do this through quantitative investigation of player interactions with the game, understanding the success of different features, and making recommendations to improve gameplay.
This is an exciting role for someone looking to flex their gaming knowledge on top of their analytical skills to take blockchain games to the next level.
You will have the opportunity to:
Define measures of success for gameplay, enabling developers to build better featuresEnsure the game is fair, varied, and balanced through quantitative investigationsGenerate insights that inform the roadmap and product strategy for Gods Unchained and Guild of GuardiansIdeate and run experiments for our user-facing products using AmplitudeWork with leading blockchain game developers on game economics solving interesting problems in card balance, economy design, metagame metrics, and dungeon level designGrow with the analytics function as Immutable scales and continues to build amazing games and products for users
We would love you to have:
5+ years experience as an analyst working in fast-paced tech or gaming environmentProficiency in SQL, Python, Amplitude, and LookerPassion for games and gaming
Some extra skills that would be awesome:
Experience at a game studioA Quantitative tertiary education such as Mathematics, Statistics, or EconomicsWorked on a Trading Card Game (TCG) or Role Play Game (RPG)Behavioural Psychology or Behavioural Economics backgroundExperience with monetisation design

Unique blockchain assets (“NFTs”) are experiencing a massive surge in popularity. These unique assets allow people to own anything from in-game items to digital art, to music, and financial instruments. However, they are highly illiquid: transactions take minutes or hours to confirm, and Ethereum can process fewer than 5 NFTs per second for the whole world combined.
To solve this problem for ourselves and for others, we have built Immutable X, a next-generation protocol for trading blockchain assets with instant trade confirmation, massive scalability, and no gas fees without compromising user custody. The goal of Immutable X is to help businesses scale their creation and trading of these unique assets (“NFTs”).
Immutable also build two of the most successful NFT-based games, Gods Unchained and Guild of Guardians, who serve as initial customers for our platform products.
