We, at ygap, are an international development not-for-profit with an innovative approach to alleviating global poverty. Our mission is to support impact entrepreneurs and improve the lives of people living the world's toughest communities. Our proven approach is to back local impact entrepreneurs, or as we call them ‘local leaders’, with their solutions to local problems in some of the world’s toughest communities. This is the most effective and sustainable way to tackle poverty as local leaders best understand the unique challenges of their communities. Our role is to help refine, support and scale their solutions focussed on accessing quality education, creating job opportunities, improving health care and safety.
