Sidney Myer established The Myer Family Investments Pty Ltd in 1925 for the purpose of managing his and his family’s interests in the business. Since then, the Myer Family Investments has morphed into a globally diversified entity under the control of the current generation of Myer family. The company’s investment strategy has expanded to include both an Australian and International portfolio across a range of asset classes. In addition, the Myer Family Investments also aim to make significant investments in exceptional businesses. As part of this strategy, the Myer Family Investments has either established or purchased a number of operating businesses, including a wealth services business – a mineral resources company – Metro Quarry Group, and a food and beverage manufacturing business – Juicy Isle.
