The People Systems & Analytics Specialist is a hands-on systems and data role sitting at the heart of SafetyCulture's P&C function. You'll own the People tech stack end-to-end — from system configuration and data integrity through to the dashboards and reports that leaders rely on every day. You’ll be the go-to expert on our People systems day-to-day, and partner closely with the P&C Engineer to get the most out of our people data and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Systems ownership & administration:
  • Own the day-to-day administration, configuration and maintenance of SafetyCulture’s People systems, ensuring they are accurate, well-governed and fit for purpose. This includes our HRIS (HiBob), ATS and other connected systems.
  • Support people programs with systems configuration and data preparation — including annual performance reviews, compensation cycles, onboarding and off boarding — ensuring systems are set up ahead of time and data is clean and ready to use.
  • Own vendor relationships across the People tech stack, including contract renewals, commercials and ongoing performance management
  • Co-lead assessments of new tools in partnership with the P&C Engineer and relevant stakeholders, and manage the implementation of any new systems.
  • Translate business needs into scalable, user-friendly system solutions, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, improve system usability and reduce manual effort.
  • Proactively manage system access, permissions and data governance across the People tech stack, in line with privacy and compliance requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for People system issues, triaging and resolving problems across integrations, data feeds and platform configuration.
  • Partner with the P&C Engineer on system and workflow enhancements, embedding new capabilities into BAU operations. Stay informed on emerging AI tools and trends in People Operations, identifying opportunities to improve how we work.
  • Liaise with external system vendors on support, releases and roadmap updates, ensuring SafetyCulture is getting full value from its People tech investments. Provide enablement and training to the broader P&C team.
  • Partner with People Ops and Talent teams to ensure data entry practices and process touchpoints maintain system integrity. Set up validation rules and conduct regular audits.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and user guides for People systems and processes
  • Reporting & Workforce Insights:
  • Build, maintain and iterate on People dashboards and reports that give P&C leaders and senior stakeholders clear, actionable workforce insights. Translate data into a compelling narrative.
  • Own the regular reporting cadence for P&C - headcount, attrition, hiring, engagement and other key metrics - ensuring data is accurate and delivered on time.
  • Manage cyclical and compliance reporting obligations, including WGEA and other regulatory requirements, ensuring submissions are accurate, on time and well-documented.
  • Translate stakeholder questions into well-structured reports and analyses, working with FP&A and other teams where data spans multiple systems.
  • Continuously improve reporting products to reduce dependence on ad hoc data pulls and enable self-serve access to People data.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, data definitions, reporting logic and standard operating procedures.
  • Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience and technical skills:
  • Hands on experience administrating and configuring HRIS platforms, including workflows, field setup, permissions and integrations. Experience with HiBob is preferred but not required.
  • Experience working across integrated People systems (e.g. HRIS, ATS, engagement platforms etc) and troubleshooting cross-system data issues, including setting up and maintaining out-of-the-box integrations between platforms.
  • Solid understanding of how data flows across interconnected People systems, with an eye for where integrity breaks down.
  • Strong data analysis skills - comfortable working with large datasets, building reports and writing formulas to surface meaningful insights.
  • Demonstrated experience building dashboards and reports that generate clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with low-code automation tools to reduce manual data handling and process steps.
  • Working knowledge of privacy principles as they apply to People data, including data access controls and audit requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams, including talent, FP&A, IT, RevOps and beyond.
  • Mindset and behaviours:
  • Data integrity first: You treat clean, accurate data as a non-negotiable foundation, not a nice-to-have.
  • Ownership-oriented: You take end-to-end ownership of your work, operating independently and driving outcomes without needing close supervision. You don't wait to be asked to fix what's broken.
  • Proactive and improvement-focused: You anticipate challenges before they surface, take initiative, and create your own roadmap of continuous improvement rather than waiting to be directed.
  • AI and automation curious: You're open to using AI tools and actively look for opportunities to automate repetitive work — not because it's expected, but because you genuinely see it as a better way to operate.
  • Stakeholder-focused: You translate business questions into clear reporting and communicate findings in plain language.
  • Pragmatic: You know when to automate, when to document, and when a simple fix is the right call. You manage competing priorities well and reliably deliver to agreed timeframes.
  • Collaborative: A natural partner to the P&C Engineer and People Ops team, comfortable working at the boundary of technical and operational work.
