About the Role
The Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for strengthening Compass’ direct relationships with existing clients by fostering meaningful, ongoing engagement. This role focuses on creating opportunities for connection, collaboration, and shared learning across the Compass client community. Through in-person and virtual events - such as workshops, round tables, pilot programs, and feedback sessions - the Coordinator helps schools deepen their understanding of Compass, gain value from new features, and feel supported as active partners in the product journey.
This position sits within the Customer Success - Learning & Engagement function because it is client-facing, service-oriented, and centred on delivering value to our current school communities. The role ensures that engagement activities directly translate to improved satisfaction, product adoption, and advocacy within Compass’ existing client base.
What you’ll do:
- Plan, coordinate and execute client events across Australia including workshops, roundtables, lunch & learns, product feedback sessions and webinars.
- Oversee event logistics - scheduling, registrations, communications, materials, and post-event follow-up.
- Manage Compass’ Facebook Community: plan and schedule posts, foster discussions, and drive participation through competitions and campaigns.
- Develop and maintain an annual engagement calendar that aligns with organisational priorities.
- Collaborate with Learning Content Specialists to promote learning resources through events and community channels.
- Partner with Marketing to ensure brand consistency and cohesive client messaging.
- Collect and report on client engagement metrics to identify areas of opportunity.
- Support the Head of CS Operations in continuous improvement of Compass’ client engagement strategy.
Requirements
Skills & Experience
- Experience in event management, community engagement or marketing communications is desirable
- Proven success in delivering engaging in-person and virtual client experiences.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Excellent organisation and attention to detail. Proficiency with Zoom, Monday.com, and social media management tools.
- Confident public communicator with a creative approach to engagement.
