Come shape the future of education with us.

At Compass, we’re on a mission to transform the school day for everyone - from staff and students to families and administrators. We build smart, seamless technology that empowers schools to focus on what really matters: learning, growing and thriving.

That mission has fuelled our growth into a global scale-up, now supporting 5,000+ schools across three countries, backed by a team of 300+ people. Our all-in-one school management platform is redefining how education communities connect, communicate and operate.

We’re now looking for a CRM Specialist to strengthen the systems, data and processes that power our revenue engine across our growth teams.

About the Role & Team

Reporting to the Head of Sales Operations, the CRM Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day ownership, configuration and optimisation of HubSpot across the revenue function.

This role is focused on hands-on execution - managing workflows, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring systems support Sales, Marketing and Customer Success effectively.

You will act as the go-to person for HubSpot, ensuring the platform is well-structured, automated where possible and delivering reliable data across the full customer lifecycle.

This role is ideal for someone who has owned CRM systems in previous roles and can confidently step in and manage HubSpot from day one.

What you’ll do:

CRM Ownership & Configuration

  • Own and manage HubSpot, including pipelines, properties, permissions and structure.
  • Handle day-to-day CRM updates, requests and system improvements.
  • Troubleshoot issues and ensure the platform runs smoothly for end users.

Data Flow & Automation

  • Build and manage workflows, automations and lead routing within HubSpot.
  • Maintain clean, accurate and reliable data across the full funnel (Marketing → Sales → Customer Success).
  • Identify and fix gaps or inefficiencies in data flow and system processes.

Reporting & Insights

  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports to support Sales and Marketing performance tracking.
  • Ensure pipeline and customer data is accurate and usable for decision-making.

Process Improvement

  • Improve and streamline CRM processes to reduce manual work and increase efficiency.
  • Document workflows and ensure consistent use of the CRM across teams.

Stakeholder Support

  • Act as the first point of contact for CRM-related queries.
  • Support onboarding and training of users on HubSpot best practices.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success to improve system usage and adoption.

Requirements

About You

You’re a detail-oriented, systems-savvy operations professional who knows how to turn data, tools and process into clear commercial impact across Sales, Marketing and Customer Success.

You'll bring:

  • 2–3 years’ proven experience in owning and managing CRMs.
  • Familiarity with various CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot, Zoho) and sales engagement tools (e.g. Gong, Aircall, Consensus and Gsuite).
  • Hands-on experience building workflows, automations and data structures.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand data and provide assistance with reports.
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, with confidence working cross-functionally.
  • A proactive mindset and a desire to continuously improve systems and processes.

Benefits

What’s in it for you?

You’ll join a purpose-driven company at a genuinely exciting stage of growth, with the opportunity to make a real impact on education at scale.
