We are now looking for a Senior Project Manager (Business) to play a key role in delivering one of our most important transformation programs.
Why This Role Matters
This role will lead the business-facing delivery of a complex, cross-functional program spanning multiple teams including Product, Operations, Customer Experience, Commercial, and Marketing.
You will be responsible for ensuring business readiness, alignment, and execution across all non-technical workstreams, working in close partnership with a Technical Project Manager and senior stakeholders across the organisation.
Role Scope
- Lead business delivery across a large-scale strategic program
- Coordinate multiple workstreams across commercial and operational teams
- Ensure alignment between business priorities and program execution
- Drive planning, governance, and successful delivery outcomes
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery
Contract Details
- Duration: 6 months
- Engagement: Full-time contract
- Location: Sydney (hybrid)

Key Accountabilities
Business Program Leadership
- Own delivery of all business-facing components of the program
- Define scope, timelines, milestones, and interdependencies
- Ensure delivery aligns to commercial and operational objectives
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the central point of coordination across business teams
- Partner with senior leaders across Product, CX, Operations, and Marketing
- Manage expectations and ensure clear communication at all levels
Planning & Coordination
- Develop and maintain detailed delivery plans across workstreams
- Coordinate activities across internal teams and external partners
- Ensure all business functions are aligned and progressing to plan
Business Readiness
- Ensure operational readiness across customer experience, support, and internal teams
- Drive development of communications, processes, and training where required
- Prepare the organisation for key delivery milestones
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify and manage risks impacting business delivery
- Implement mitigation plans and escalate where required
- Maintain visibility through structured reporting and tracking
Governance & Reporting
- Lead program governance for business workstreams
- Prepare updates for steering committees and executive stakeholders
- Track delivery against milestones, KPIs, and outcomes
Requirements
About You
- Proven experience delivering complex, cross-functional business programs
- Strong background in transformation, operations, or commercial project delivery
- Experience working in fast-paced, scaling organisations
- Experience partnering closely with technical teams on large initiatives
Skills
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing capability
- Strong organisational and planning skills with attention to detail
- Ability to simplify complexity and drive alignment across teams
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving outcomes
Desirable
- Experience in technology, SaaS, telco, or platform-based environments
- Exposure to customer experience, operations, or go-to-market delivery
- Familiarity with structured delivery frameworks (Agile, PRINCE2, PMP)
