Job Summary
 
As a Relationship Manager in our Commercial Lending team, you will be responsible for nurturing and expanding relationships with existing commercial asset finance brokers across your designated state or territory. Your key focus will be to drive broker engagement and increase Plenti’s share of wallet within your portfolio. Working closely with the Business Development Manager (BDM), you will support the execution of the state or territory sales strategy by identifying and onboarding high-potential brokers, while maximising performance and outcomes within the existing broker network.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
• Strengthen relationships with active commercial asset finance brokers, driving increased utilisation and origination volumes
• Implement targeted strategies to maximise Plenti’s share of wallet within the broker portfolio, ensuring brokers prioritise Plenti for their commercial asset needs
• Work in conjunction with the BDM to identify and onboard high potential commercial brokers, ensuring a seamless integration and engagement as part of the state/territory sales strategy
• Work collaboratively with your BDM to manage deal pipelines, ensuring brokers receive best-in-class service and that transactions progress smoothly through to settlement
• Engage with internal teams, including credit, operations, and marketing to support brokers, resolve issues, and enhance the overall broker experience
 
Key Qualifications
 
• 1+ years' experience in sales or finance account management, preferably in third-party intermediated channels or directly with finance brokers
• Strong understanding of commercial asset finance, particularly within the broker channel
• Demonstrated experience managing broker relationships and driving lending volume
• Proven ability to increase broker utilisation, share of wallet, and generate new business
• Ability to engage, influence, and support brokers to maximise business potential
• Comfortable using data to inform decisions and optimise sales performance
