About the role

This role has the opportunity to contribute to all elements of the marketing function, with a special focus on building our community through events and content. As our second marketing hire in our quickly growing team, you can choose to develop into the area that excites you the most. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you’ll be mostly focused on:

  • events and partnerships: organising networking events/industry webinars, and identifying opportunities for collaboration with industry partners.
  • content creation: producing material such as website content, brochures and case studies, social media posts, webinars, and EDM.
  • social media and community: managing our digital presence across LinkedIn and other platforms to generate brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • campaigns: supporting the delivery of brand and product marketing campaigns, from campaign ideation through to execution and reporting.

Requirements

We believe that exceptional people often have different looking CVs, so we try to steer away from hard prerequisites. At a minimum, the right person for this role will:

  • have 2-4 years of marketing experience.
  • have experience writing great copy, understanding how to apply brand voice and tone.
  • have impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
  • have bias toward action, and a natural tendency for organisation—you enjoy planning ahead, but can think on your feet in order to manage projects with multiple deadlines and relationships.
  • be a creative (and critical) thinker, looking for new opportunities to improve the way we do things.

Benefits

  • $75-95k (dependent on ability and experience)
  • 100% remote friendly within Australia (come to the office, work from home or a bit of both—it’s up to you)
  • Flexible work hours (we care about outcomes—go for that lunchtime swim)
  • New Macbook and $2,000 home office setup budget
  • Five weeks leave each year (and never work on your birthday)
  • Dog-friendly office in Collingwood, Melbourne
  • Generous professional development program
