Who is Plenti?

Plenti is a fintech lender, providing faster, fairer loans through smart technology and outstanding
customer service. We are a dynamic and innovative business that is growing strongly. By continuing to deliver better customer value and experience we are taking market share from incumbent players in the personal lending, renewable energy and automotive finance markets.

We are a fast moving and ambitious organisation that seeks to bring in smart and capable people who can take ownership of their role to help the business continue to grow and thrive. With over 200 people based in Australia we are a small enough organisation that everyone can make a difference but we have very big ambitions that our passionate team are working to deliver.

Plenti is still a founder led business that began in 2014 and is now listed on the ASX with annual
revenue of over $200 million and a loan book over $2 billion.

What's the role?

We currently have an opportunity to join our Settlements Team as a Settlements Officer. The key function of the Settlements Officer is to manage Plenti's loan settlements with exceptional standards and to ensure settlements are actioned accurately and in a timely manner. Through working with a number of stakeholders, prioritizing and actioning work, our aim is to help create a business that is servicing our customers quicker than our competitors.

In this role you will prepare Settlement documentation by reviewing and verifying against business requirements. You will act as an internal and external escalation point to ensure Settlements are completed accurately and in a timely manner. You will liaise and support our internal sales staff and external business partners in day to day operations.

The successful candidate will think like a customer and never forget that our customers are what it’s all about. They will make it happen in a simple ‘do it together fashion’ to get the job done. They will do what’s right knowing that our decisions matter, which will inevitably lead us to be the best.

What type of skill set will make you successful?

• Ensure data is entered correctly and matches supporting documentation
• Must be resilient and open to change
• Effectively interpret and prioritize workload to ensure that deadlines are met.
• Good quantitative and analytical skills, coupled with sound judgment
• A great personality coupled with boundless enthusiasm for a great customer experience
• The ability to work autonomously without supervision
• Be a team player and build strong positive working relationships throughout the organization
• Help identify, simplify and enhance process improvements to ensure a fantastic customer experience
• Be a great communicator by providing a high level of customer service to brokers, Business Development Managers, underwriters and other key stakeholders.

What's life like at Plenti?

Working at Plenti means joining a team that is high-performing, diverse, customer-focused and collaborative. It’s a place where everyone can “make it happen” and share in the results and success. If being in a dynamic industry as part of a market-leading fintech sounds like you, then come help us reshape Australia’s financial eco-system for the good.

In return, you will enjoy a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship to take your career further. We offer hybrid work with WFH days, flexible working hours and volunteer and study leave to develop your skills. We also have monthly social events, office snacks, company Townhalls and D&I initiatives and events to connect.

Plenti is committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce. We encourage people from different backgrounds to apply, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and people with disabilities. When you apply, let us know any reasonable adjustments you may need during the interview process so we can accommodate you.
