We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Insurance Product Manager to join and help build our team. You will be responsible for leading, developing, managing and maintaining the product roadmap.  You will have strong leadership abilities, work effectively with cross-functional teams and can manage tasks and interests from many stakeholder groups.

What will I be doing

  • Develop new insurance products from conceptualisation to launch, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and address customer needs
  • Maintain and review policy wording on a regular basis
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences to inform product strategy
  • Develop and execute product strategies that align with Safety Culture Care’s goals and objectives, including pricing, positioning and distribution channels
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Underwriting, actuarial, marketing, sales and IT to bring products to market effectively
  • Providing guidance to Underwriting, Risk Solutions, Design & Delivery and Data & Analytics Teams
  • Ensure all insurance products comply with regulatory requirements and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, best practice, underwriting acceptance levels, systems and organisational guidelines
  • Support effective communication of Product related issues across SafetyCulture Care
  • Communicate product updates, performance insights, and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders, senior management, and external partners as needed
  • Manage key portfolios and relationships with intermediaries to effectively promote the product and raise the expertise of brokers
  • Help set overall company strategy, build an incredible working culture, and set an example to everyone of how to live up to our values
  • What do I need?

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a Product Management role
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with product development processes, including product design, underwriting pricing and execution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders
  • Motivation to expand, learn and grow with a high performing team
  • Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
