Job Summary
Bugcrowd is looking for a Junior IT Support Specialist in Australia. This is a great position for someone getting started in their IT career, and wants to strengthen their technical and professional skills. As a Junior IT Support Specialist you will assist in supporting users with their IT issues, managing our enterprise technology systems, and working on projects to implement new systems and improve existing ones through automations etc.
A successful candidate will have experience in supporting users with day-to-day IT issues, a passion for IT and eagerness to learn more.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
Support users in day-to-day IT issues
Manage enterprise technology and corporate systems
Provision computers, manage services and onboard new users
Work in a small worldwide team to support our users
Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
Audit systems, assess their outcomes and address problems
Preserve assets, information security and control structures
Must be able to work assigned hours (Ideally work until 6-7PM AEST) and work on call hours as needed by the company

Education

Certificate in Information Technology (TAFE) or equivalent experience

Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience in IT support role
Must be able to work assigned hours (Ideally work until 6-7PM AEST) and work on call hours as needed by the company
Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
Ability to work within a small team but also work independently and must have strong organizational, communication and customer service skills
Systems: MacOS, Google Workspace, Okta, Jamf, Mobile (iOS and Android)
Experience in using Macbooks is preferred.
Some experience in bash scripting and working with APIs would be an advantage, but not required.
Must be eager to work hard, to learn many new skills, solve problems, and integrate tightly with the rest of the team

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Sitting and / or standing - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
Carrying and / or lifting - Must be able to carry / move laptop as needed throughout the work day.
Environment - remote, work-from-home 100% of the time.
