About the role

We have plenty of growing left to do, so we are looking for a Logistics and Shipping Coordinator to join our global team. The position would suit a self-motivated individual with a strong desire to contribute and participate in the exciting opportunities arising from a company experiencing continued growth.

What you will do

  • Proactively coordinate domestic and international shipments to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of all VALD shipments. 
  • Oversee, coordinate, and ensure the accurate and timely completion of shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing declarations, bills of lading, and certificates.
  • Prepare and print shipping labels and liaise with carriers to schedule shipments.
  • Liaise with international customs brokers to facilitate prompt clearance of shipments and resolution of issues.
  • Assist with warehouse receivals, dispatch operations, returns and any other general warehouse duties as required to support business needs.

Is this you?

  • Proven experience in logistics, operations, and international shipping.
  • knowledge of international shipping processes and incoterms.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation and processes.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • A positive, proactive "can-do" attitude and the ability to work autonomously or in a team.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working autonomously or as part of a team.
  • A background in international trade or logistics, with relevant qualifications and experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 is required, while experience with HubSpot, UPS/DHL shipment platforms, and Oracle NetSuite is highly desirable.
