About the role:
As Lead Product Manager for Marketplace Growth at hipages, you’ll drive job volume and tradie acquisition by owning the growth backlog and leading cross-functional teams. Through data-driven prioritisation and rapid experimentation, you’ll deliver scalable impact while helping shape and grow our product practice.
How you will add value:
- Deeply understand the wants, needs and psychology of our customers and build hypotheses of solutions that will meet these needs and wants
- Use growth hacking and experimentation techniques to drive growth levers quickly.
- Maintain focus on the outcomes that the team needs to achieve, and ruthlessly prioritise to achieve them
- Collaborate with the Product-Led Acquisition team, who will play a large part in growing our tradie base.
- Build and maintain expertise in the competitor landscape for comparable SaaS businesses both domestically and overseas.
- Develop product propositions and determine product positioning and variants for different customer and user segments
- Lead and guide product direction for a cross-functional team of engineering, design, and data expertise
About you:
- Minimum 5+ years of product management experience delivering successful and innovative products within the Growth space
- Leadership Experience: Prior experience setting and delivering on a strategy you crafted, where you were accountable for the outcomes.
- Delivery: A track record of solving complex problems and bringing new products to market
- Technically proficient: you have collaborated with engineers in developing the technical architecture of the products you have built.
- Experienced in driving an end-to-end Lean Product Development Culture
- A solid understanding of the technology behind SaaS products and being comfortable leading a team in product initiatives
- Experience with A/B testing tools and experimentation frameworks
- Experience using analytics tools like Mixpanel and Tableau.
- Experience working in a start-up and/or high-growth B2B SaaS product is highly desirable.
