By offering financial solutions to homeowners, we’re making renewable energy and home improvements more accessible to the everyday Aussie.

Between Nov 2016 and Feb 2022, Brighte has facilitated the installation of solar systems for over 110,000 households. Currently we have 1700 GWh generated by our customers each year which is saving 1 million + metric tons on C02 emissions per year!

About the role
 
Manage a wide range of systems within an organisation including servers, networking equipment, storage devices, and other hardware components.
 
·       Optimise the infrastructure to ensure it is scalable, and performs efficiently.
·       Bridge the gap between development and operations. Implement the automation for infrastructure provisioning and configuration, promoting collaboration between development and operations teams.
·       Ensure the reliability and availability of systems and applications. Set up monitoring tools, establish alerting mechanisms, and respond to incidents to minimise downtime.
·       Implement security best practices to protect systems and data.
·       Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for routine tasks, such as system provisioning, configuration management, and updates.
·       Assist with documentation of systems configurations, processes, and procedures is essential for knowledge sharing, onboarding new team members, and disaster recovery planning.
·       Assist with incident response, helping to diagnose and resolve problems promptly.
·       Ensure that internal systems and infrastructure meet regulatory and compliance requirements is a critical responsibility, particularly in industries with specific standards and regulations.
 
 
Qualifications and about you:

·       A Bachelor’s or Masters degree in computer science, or a related field of equivalent work.
·       Relevant certifications and/or hands on experience.
·       A self-starter, who can work autonomously and takes initiative to improve and grow with the company.
·       You are proficient in managing various domains, including system administration, network management, cloud services, automation, security, and database management.
·       You are expert in managing and optimising cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
·       Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and the ability to implement security measures to protect systems and data.
·       Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
·       A commitment to staying up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices
