How you'll make an impact:
As a Partner Development Team Lead you will be a key member of the AU Partner Development Leadership Team. This role is responsible for leading a team of Partner Development Representatives who are responsible for leading a journey for new Xero partners, including achievement of key education, status and other Xero Partner Program milestones.
The key focus of the Partner Development team is to foster mutual alignment of practice goals and deliver on the world class onboarding experience prior to handover to the Partner Sales team. The Partner Development team positions accountants and bookkeepers for growth within the Partner Program, and drives the adoption of partner tools across our new Partner base.
What you'll do:
Be on the ground daily driving performance, culture, and an inspiring environmentBe the go-to person for the team on day-to-day operational issues, working closely with the AU sales ops team as necessaryHave a keen awareness of where advice and support are needed throughout the teamMotivate, engage and enable team members to adopt best practice to support repeatable activities towards successful attainment of goalsProvide insights to assist with strategy and planning for the Partner Development Channel overallRun retrospectives and workshops, sometimes cross-functionally, to ensure the team understands priorities and growth opportunitiesWork with team members and pre-sales to ensure appropriate up to date product knowledge of Xero Partner with enablement team to embed sales training and updates from the businessBe the point of escalation for partners and internal stakeholders needing leadership attentionAct as a conduit to the marketing team by maintaining and tracking PGM involvement with marketing campaigns, keeping your manager informed of opportunities Engage and liaise with Senior Account Managers (SAM), Account Managers (AM), Territory Managers (TM) and Heads of functional areas regarding the onboarding status of partnersMotivate and assist the team to ensure monthly KPIs and targets are achievedUpdate CRM system to distribute workload and to support the team as neededWork with your manager to showcase the values expected within XeroBuild and maintain process docs where needed
What you'll bring with you:
Strong knowledge of Accounting and Bookkeeping practices and processesAbility to lead and motivate team members tasked with nurturing initial Partner Growth at scaleStrong knowledge of Xero and Xero product with CRM knowledgeSelf-motivation, energy, passion and determination to succeedExcellent ability to build external and internal relationships and the skills to quickly build rapportAbility to build and maintain effective relationships internally and externallySound judgment, initiative, ability to self manage, flexibility, diligence and commitment to following through and resolving problemsExcellent verbal and written communicationOwnership of escalations with a solution driven mindset.
