Are you a passionate storyteller with a knack for crafting compelling content? Prezzee, the leading digital gift card and payments business across Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and the United Kingdom, is looking for a talented Copywriter for a 12 Month FTC to elevate our brand and drive our continued growth into Canada!

This is a hybrid role (4 days a week in office) based in Sydney or Melbourne.

As a key member of our marketing team, you will:

  • Run the translation of our campaigns using the crowdin AI translation platform
  • Write, edit, and deliver amazing copy for a localised Canadian audience (print, radio, TV).
  • Work closely with marketing and design teams to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and craft messaging that resonates.
  • Use your storytelling skills to inspire customer engagement across all channels and stages of the customer journey.
  • Apply SEO principles to maximise the reach and impact of your copy, ensuring consistency with our brand voice.
  • Proofread all written and digital content for accuracy, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Conduct high-quality research and interviews, and source images and other content as needed.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a copywriter or in a related role with a diverse portfolio (e.g., social media captions, TV/radio scripts, SEO web content, blog posts, direct marketing emails).
  • Experience writing for a specific brand across multiple media (in-house, freelance, or agency) is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of online content strategy and creation.
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality standards in style and grammar.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and experience with content management systems like WordPress
  • Experience in French or Canadian English language preferred

Out-of-Hours Contact Requirement 

  • Due to the nature and responsibilities of this role, it is identified as one that may require out-of-hours contact. The incumbent will need to be available outside of standard working hours given the global nature of the role and in particular to address urgent matters and ensure continuity of operations. Clear guidelines and expectations regarding out-of-hours contact will be established in collaboration with the Employee's Manager.
